Home, Sweet New Home

Here is a little page with a few photos of my new home...the big move is this Thursday 11th...how very exciting!  

My scrap room has a large cupboard, my desk & our lovely pine wall unit that Pete built about 25 years ago....& all my scrap goodies are on the floor!! All waiting patiently to be put away...what fun I will have!!

Pete has the internet sorted & hopefully it will be up & running quick as a wink....

We are Fans of Yours!

Well here is my wall hanging that I made for my wonderful grandson Harry. We recently went along to the local Botanical Gardens & my son took some great photos of Harry in the Japanese gardens.

So with Shazza's marvellous goodies  & wonderful challenge SSQ9 at Soul Scrappers I created this for him. 

I used a little chipboard album & inked all the edges, & lightly inked the surfaces.

1. Red pp - made into 2 small fans, & pleated near my Dragon2. Oriental paper - behind photos 3. Red Crepe paper - twisted & used to join & hang the sections4. 2 x metal charms. Larger one hanging on crepe paper, & little one hanging around the Geisha's neck.5. Sequins - various spots6. 2 x cocktail umbrellas. Shading our pretty Geisha, & near my dragon7. Geisha - hand coloured with ordinary colour pencils8. Apple Blossoms - coloured in & trimmed & added in 2 spots9. Gold lantern stickers - 2 spots on the photos10. Geisha sticker - near my hand cut dragon.  My wonderful Confucious quote is - Wheresoever you go, go with all your heart.      A beautiful array of goodies, thank you Shazza - I loved working on this one.

What a handsome grandson I have!! Hehehhe...but he is!

Loved this challenge from Amanda at ScrapBoutique during their week of 4th birthday celebrations - top challenges I say!

I used 4 pp's, 4 buttons, 4 bazzill kraft embellies, 4 pleats in my white bazzill, & a photo of a 4 year old lively lad.  Our cool dude Harry!

A great challenge from Shazza at Soul Scrappers...using the featured artist Cyndi Lauper & her son 'Girls just want to have fun' for SLC2 - Song & Lyric challenge...wasn't I lucky to have all these great photos of Tashi's 16th party, as they filled the bill perfectly...

Then for Marisa's quote Challenge QC3 - what a terrific choice.  I had not heard it previously, & think it is fabulous.

Making a big splash!

Well that was dear Tashi was doing with a friend when she was on holidays earlier this year, the grand old tradition of jetty jumping! Great photos courtesy of Linda...thank you!

I have been so lucky to have received some delightful goodies from Becci at Lime Tree Creations, & they perfectly suited this LO..love the circle doily & the big round splash!

I really enjoyed using this lovely vibrant yellow, with some Sass Fras chippies & some stiching for another scraplift over at Dixie Pieces...

Both these girls, my lovely grand daughters are nearly grown up, but these school photos were too cute to leave in the photo box.

Scraplift Month at Dixie Pieces

I would so LOVE to have time to scraplift each page over at Dixie Pieces this month..cos that is what they want you to do...what fun it would be!  I have magaed 2 pages,and I hope to do more...but will my impending house move time is limited....but you never know!

I loved both Lynne & Sandi's pages & enjoyed working them in with my photos & scrapping supplies.

Digi pieces

I enjoyed a restful hour or so working on this LO following a grid sketch by Karen at Soul Scrapper.  I have used these great photos of the Clark men, taken at Easter.

And also been working on this very floral (not Jadie at all) LO using a great colour combo set by Mary.

Little kindy kid...

Benni's first school photo at Narranga Public School.  What a delightful son he was then (& is still now many years later.)  Chatty, & happy.

This was a challenge for Gwen at Soul Scrappers to use fabric on a LO. So with some stitching & gluing I have added a couple of pieces of yellow material.  I am happy with such a clear & precise LO.

Ahh the Serenity...at ScrapJacked

I was really interested in the Scrap Jacked blog & love each & every LO again this month.  So I worked on this lovely photo at Nymboida & followed Christine's inspiration using a 12x12 page. I made a quick flower using organza, I so love that fabric!

Christmas in July at Sandie's Place

It is Christmas in July over at Sandie's Place.  So with that I started to create with a few KC papers & cards & just kept on going.  I added Darkroom Door name tags & a a few flowers & ribbons, & I am happy that I have stated on my Chrissie stash.

ScrapBursts...

This is my page for Janet at Scrapville, ScrapBurst 3.  I love the use of blue, with green & some choose that colour choice.  Also I had these green sparkly alphas that I just felt were perfect for this! And so I used what letters I had left to make the title.  I also used a lovely green button from Marg...perfect hey! This is my Pete & Harry enjoying a quiet moment at the Botanical Gardens.

For my fourth ScrapBurst, I choose this lovely B & W photo of Jade, & teamed it up with bright summery colours & textures.  I chose the Perfect by Pink word Pretty, as the title with a little subtitle to follow.
