Simply gorgeous

Here is Lisa's LO at Scrap Jacked this month, which I think is absolutely adorable so I really enjoyed thinking about this lovely page while I scrapped my LO of  wonderful Tashi & her gorgeous corsage that Mitchell gave her for her school formal last November.

I have used a lovely mask & Malted Milk dabber, a lovely La Blance stamp, Prima packaging, Simple Stories journaling tag, lace, Tattered Inspirations seam binding, Prima Leaves, plus some lovely ribbon that I inked with my favourite Dew Drop ink 'wheat'.  I have stamped a SU love stamp in the upper corner, but my photo does not do it justice, such a lovely stamp!

Cooking the Books!

I have jacked Julie's fabbo LO & used a photo of me taken a work...and added to title of Cooking the Books...well I am not...hehehhe

Happy and Home

As usual this month at Scrap Jacked there is a bevy of great LO's to jack...here is Mel's LO & I loved it..

And so here is mine titled 'Happy and Home' following her inspiration...isn't this a great photo of Jade & her Pete! I used some fabulous Echo Park paper & embellies, along with white paint, KC brad, Marg's Bits & Pieces button & crotchet flower, Glimmermist & inks.

And a little closeup..

It looks like the hearts are attached, but actually they are punched out with paper underneath!

Oh another month of amazing LO's at Scrap Jacked for the start of 2012...better check them out!

I choose, with this LO of Jade in Venice, to jack Andrea's gorgeous page because it inspired me with such a lovely photo in Venice, & also a fab page sketch.

I enjoyed playing with the colours & tried to make my page quite textural too. I have used some pieces from Tattered Inspirations Kit,  Prima bling & Kaisercraft stamps.

In thought....

I was so moved by Jeanenne's LO titled 'In the Pool' over at ScrapJacked, I couldn't help myself & used it as inspiration for my LO using a photo of Pete taken when we were in England.

I made the tissue flowers out of  paper that come with a pair of shoes, & popped embellies on that suit Pete. I adore this PinkPaislee Butterfly Collection ephemera! A smidge of stitching & a splat or two, & I was happy.

Nanny Love at Scrap Jacked

I decided to join in at Scrap Jacked again this month& so used Jeanenne's fabulous LO titled 'My Mowing Hat' as my inspiration.  I have used similar colours & her sketch to create a page about Debbie & Harry at a fab picnic recently.  What a gorgeous photo that Jadie took. I love it!

Over at Scrap Jacked this month, I played around with Sarah's great LO...turned it around & added lots of journaling, & also left it til the last moment to finish & photograph - again!! 

But here is my beautiful daughter with my wonderful man, having a laugh about the new camera...what a hoot!

Ahh the Serenity...at ScrapJacked

I was really interested in the Scrap Jacked blog & love each & every LO again this month.  So I worked on this lovely photo at Nymboida & followed Christine's inspiration using a 12x12 page. I made a quick flower using organza, I so love that fabric!

Scrap Jacked....always a first time!

I have not played here at Scrap jacked before & have left it til the 11th hour, but gee I enjoyed it!  I really loved all the Designers pages, but Julie's took my eye plus I wanted to scrap this certain photo.

I used a photo that printed badly of my grand daughters...but yet I love the photo & had it in a frame til recently. So I chose black cardstock & used the 'Lauren credit card painting' method to wipe over brown KC paint that looked like melted chocolate!  What a great time I had working on this one!

I will check out this site again soon too!
