I have not played here at Scrap jacked before & have left it til the 11th hour, but gee I enjoyed it! I really loved all the Designers pages, but Julie's took my eye plus I wanted to scrap this certain photo.
I used a photo that printed badly of my grand daughters...but yet I love the photo & had it in a frame til recently. So I chose black cardstock & used the 'Lauren credit card painting' method to wipe over brown KC paint that looked like melted chocolate! What a great time I had working on this one!
I will check out this site again soon too!
Thank you for the inspiration.

Lime Tree Creations..creating!
I was a lucky chicken to receive a few little hand made crotcheted treats from Shazza, courtesy of Becci from Lime Tree Creations. So on this wintery afternoon I worked on a wintery London photo of my Jade. Now these crocheted flowers & frills are in delightful colours & add such life & texture to my LO... why not pop over to Lime Tree Creations and take a look yourself!
Keep warm!

A Duet
A lovely June challenge from Carol at Tattered Inspirations - you too can join in if you would like to!
I have used a photo taken last Sunday of Jade & her Pete sitting at Jetty Beach...what a warm & wonderful wintery day it was! I had a load of fun with a most beautiful Tattered Inspirations Kit 'At the Seaside', some book paper & a splendid quote written anonymously as well.
I have had to photograph inside today due to bad weather, & thus the photo is not the best.
Take care,

The Pa & Our Harry
I loved these photos of Pete & Harry at the Botanical Gardens, & I really had a great time using a sketch from Justene at Soul Scrappers to show them off.
Hope you are keeping well & scrapping some times too. xxx

Birthday Joy at the Gardens
Firstly, thank you lovely gals for your calls & messages & cards...it is lovely to be loved!!
Aren't these flowers the most fabulous colourings!! My sister sent them too me...
Then lunch out at the local Botanical Gardens...a brilliant wintery, but very sunny day down by the Japanese Lake...it was really such a wonderful time.
But have a look at Harry feeding this duck...what a marvellous photo!
See you again. xxx

One to make you laugh....
What a great challenge Shazza set for the first Song/Lyric Challenge over at Soul Scrappers!
Our criteria was John Farnhams ' You're The Voice' title or any lyrics from that song. So I was a bit norty, & went all out with a loud & colourful digi page of Pete & I dressed very poorly (or good perhaps) for a Bad Taste Party that we arranged a few years ago. BUT I had so much fun working on this fun LO on this bleak, wet & windy public holiday Monday that I hope it gives you a smile too.
Thanks for looking...
Card & a 1/2
I love making male cards...I can use browns & neutrals to my hearts content.
I have made a 'beach' styled card using a lovely Stamp It stamp, inking & matting & generally had a great time working on it! But no embossing!! next time maybe! Hehehe
You can join in too if you like at Card & a Half

ScrapBurst!
At Janet's beautiful shop, she is running a 4 week ScrapBurst in June...which is a surprise scrap, of a different inspiration for each week. Janet held a little comp & my suggestion for this challenge was ScrapBurst & she choose it as the title...isn't that grand!
The first weeks inspiration is this lovely photo titled 'Mellow Yellow'. For my LO of my Jadie Joy when she was first born 29 years ago, I had a play around with with tissue paper & Mod Podge over lovely yellow pp, plus lots of fine satin ribbon, doileys, & roses
