I need to.....

keep the Whimsy in my life, everyday....hows that for a title - but I like it! :)

I have joined in with Kraft It Up this month

JULY CHALLENGE

I really, really enjoyed working on this LO - because it was so much fun, & I was making it just for me.

I misted & inked & doodled & coloured, & fussy cut & adhered, & stamped & found little treasures on my desk like Marg's Bits & Pieces button.

My journaling reads - The love of cherries & sunshine & the colour red, & fresh flowers, & kittens & jewels & comfort & kisses & hugs & friends & comfy seating & the internet & quirky clothes & fun shirts & good decorating & scrapping on card & making fab cards, & holding a bebe, & seeing a giraffe, & plants in the garden, bowls of fresh salad & decorating cakes.
Keep in the sunshine. Revolves around time. Give lots to receive much.
Just make life as beautiful as can be.

Thank you for looking & hugs for a great day xxx

1960's wedding wear

Now isnt this lovely!! Just check out ScrapFriends & you will find all the details for this fab challenge & so much more!!

Here is my page..

Gosh aren't those hats terrific - mine was handmade & was blue netting!! I am the little one in this piccie, aged 5 sitting with my sister-in-law at my sisters wedding in Spetember 1960.
I am pointing to the spot where one of my front teeth had just fallen out!

I loved these soft colours, plus added a deeper shade to give some depth, plus I have used white chiffon as a base for the photo to sit. Had to add some Tattered Inspirations ephemera too...love it!

Thank you for taking a peep.

Life is Easy, Breezy, Happy, Sunny & Good with Fab Friends

Just adore this page by the lovely Jeanenne over at ScrapJacked.  So this is how I interpreted it onto an 8.5 x 11 page...just loving that size to work on!

I used some scrumptious Simple Stories paper, with some misting of gorgeous hexagons ( what a great word) some gingham, & chevrons..this is my Tashi on her 18th birthday with her lovely boyfriend Mitchell & BFF Monica.

So my title says it all!

Thank you for looking,

I really loved this colour challenge at Scrapfriends, so pleased I was able to use some lovely Tattered Inspirations ephemera from a few kits - I think they worked really well with this photo of my delightful grand daughter Tashi - a photo from her formal last November. I also died some doilies & attached one too.

I'm so privledged to be on the Design Team of

Tattered Inspirations is a little business which aims to provide products with a vintage heart to use in your crafts - be it scrapbooking, card making or other crafty pursuits.

The Tattered Inspirations shop is here
Tattered Inspirations

The business is only tiny and is not in any way out to make lots of money but rather to offer products to compliment the usual supplies availble by big companies.

The Design Team Michelle Lark, Rachel Walsh, Helen Jolly, Belinda Comerford and Deb Clark creatively use the products to show people what can be done - and I treasure their input and design work immensly.

Thank you for dropping by, we aim to encourage and inspire you to do something different out of your comfort zone, in new and exciting ways.

Yay & gracious me....

I have adored & used Carols kits & ephemera for so long, & so fortunate to work with all the lovely DT's...

Here is 3 cards that I had a ball working on from Tattered Inspirations 'Victorian Lady' kit

I really, really, really just love these kits..perfect for card making...pop over to Tattered Inspirations Etsy shop & pick up a bit of wonderment.
