Isn't time an amazing thing!
Here we are at the end of 2010 & already the calendar is filling for 2011...I think it will be a very happy & scrappy year for me.
Here is a quick LO that I worked on in a couple of hours while our lovely visitors were out...just a lazy ride down the Kalang River...
And 4 baby cards I worked on too, using my new Peter Rabbit stamps...I have always loved Beatrix Potter & was so happy to find these & at a bargain price too! Must duck out to Spotlight today & grab some for Shelee too.
Best wishes to you all, & hope you find something beautiful in what you do.
We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter is New Year's Day. ~Edith Lovejoy Pierce

Sweet treats!!
Christmas comes but once a year....yay! And so I cook...I love it!!
I have been madly making all sorts of little edible treats & so far the choice has been - Mini Plum Puddings, Almond & Apricot Shortbread drizzled with white or dark chocolate, Mini Fruit & Nut cakes, Rocky Road, Turkish Delight & Walnut & Ginger Bark, Almond Blondies....
A slab of the Bark with Turkish Delight & Ginger, before I broke I into pieces, with Mini Plum Puddings in the background.
Hope you are enjoying this lead up to Christmas. I love it!

The Mystical Nativity
What a wonderful inspiration for December at ARTastic!
It is a very intricate painting my Botticelli...& I really love it, now that I have spent a great deal of time looking at it...
So here is mine...titled Our English Christmas, & I have credited dear Melinda for her very clever little twig idea...
What a profound painting this was of Botticelli!! Full of colour & wings & love, & that is what I have used as my inspiration.
I have scrapped a photo of my man & lovely daughter at Christmas, a few years ago when we visited England. Our daughter was working over there & having never travelled OS it gave us the 'push' to go. It was freezing cold, but yet so english & so lovely, we had a marvellous time!!
I have included all the criteria I believe & enjoyed doing so I might add! I have made a stable out of twigs off a tree in my garden, & that was inspiration from my scrapping friend Melinda Spinks. I have hand cut 2 little angels, & embossed some chippie pieces just to help set the scene. I had fun sanding the Core-dinations cardstock, to give a mottled effect & ended up with a rustic, yet precise LO.
Thanks for stopping by.... love
