A beautiful quote from Shazza at Soul Scrappers, led me to this LO of my beautiful pregnant daughter & myself last week.  Jade is so precious, as well as the new little life she is carrying.

I worked on this digital LO using a kit plus extras from Coolscrapsdigital.

I really love Julie's work & could see one of these on my walls!

Loved Julie's colours & had to use them myself.

I am very late in the month but just made it for Kraft it Up -

the recipe is 

1 Piece of Kraft Cardstock or Patterned Paper
2 Photos of any size
A 3 word title
4 different pieces of patterned paper and
5 different embellishments

Here I have used all the criteria & photos of Jade & her Pete last week on her 30th birthday celebration...

With inspiration from wonderful Heather Jacobs.....

My beautiful daughters' 30th birthday called for something special. An album of photos.  

I purchased  a Kaisercraft 30 album, but just couldn't begin to work on it - although it is great, it was not what I wanted to make for Jade.  Then I saw a post by the amazingly talented Heather Jacobs, with her garden book & voila, there was the inspiration I needed!  With a nod of approval from Heather I set to work.

I used an old book front, a wonderful pizza box, large Basic Grey & Bo Bunny journaling tags, October Afternoon & Basic Grey gorgeous die cuts, journaling tag - thanks Jane, that I have hidden in a pocket, Kaisercraft flowers, acetate sheets, Stazon Ink, stamps, Dew Drop ink, Distress Ink - thank you Jane, ribbons & laces, Kaisercraft album rings, a selection of paper scraps, & lots of time & love, & here is a selection of pages.  A bit grungy, a bit shabby but I was very happy with the result. So was my beautiful daughter, & that was great!
