Sweet Moments @ Arci-scraps

This is the Archi-scraps November challenge & the theme is TRANSPORT.

So I used a photo from 1974, of me being one of the Jacaranda Princesses in Grafton.

The Jacaranda Festival is a long running festival, celebrating all the beautiful Jacaranda trees blossoming.

Here is my dad driving me & my little attendants along with the float procession.
Dad loved this Ford Falcon!

I have layered & found all sorts of matching ephemera....& loved working on this page.

Great challenge!

Yum @ Archi-scraps

Joining in with this fun inspiration over at Archi-scraps this month..

It is part of a roof feature by Gaudi, in Spain.

We want you to USE MOSAICS OR CRACKLE.
This could be cut squares, serendipity squares,in fact any type of mosaic!

I really like this - a very clever piece!

So here is my page using a pretty Pippi photo

I used some paper scraps, as well as some packaging torn up in to little squares along with some Basic Grey shapes.

I also stamped a lovely Studio Calico pineapple & coloured with my new chameleons - thought it suited the theme too.

Thanks for a great challenge.

2 cards for Archi-Scraps

Well this is an odd looking building - I wonder where it is?

It is the inspiration for September for Archiscraps, & I have decided to make 2 cards using the criteria of USE LAYERS and /or CORRUGATED CARDBOARD.

Here they are -

My first card ' May all your wishes come true' is made up of 'scraps' from my left over paper drawer, & some older round stickers, plus flowers...it is my friends birthday soon, & I know she will like this one.

And my 2nd card, also uses scraps from that drawer too.....I love scrapping with scraps!

Thank you for a great challenge,

Hugs xx

When I grow up @ Archiscraps

Joining in with Archi-scraps this month with a LO based on this image...

I've always liked the look of this house. It is Cloud House in Melbourne.

and the requirements are clouds.

Isn't this the most fantastic Melbourne home...I have actually watched an item on TV on the building of this - I think it is marvellous!

So here is my page all about young me

The photo isn't a good one in quality, but it is a fantastic record as there were so few photos taken back then.

I had fun using this gorgeous gold pp, vellum & bits & bobs.

I have also entered this page over at Soul Scrappers FS2S challenge as well.

a daily song at the clothes line for me! :)

Firstly the picture for inspiration..

 - isn't it amazing!

The CRITERIA is to use a song title.

So here is my LO...

So with a chuckle, I have used a little preschool song, that is so apt at my home as it is so windy here!

Opening Doors

I loved this photo from the moment I saw it...I was so inspired!

This is the March inspiration at Archi-scraps

THEN I found out we are collaborating with
CSI Scrapbooking & we will all be CSI March Special Agents for this Special Case File
- so woo hoo, I was thrilled!!!

The criteria for Archi-scraps is striped borders.

And here is my page using the CSI criteria too...

I have used the 6 colours of the colour palette
Evidence - strips, decorative border, achitechtural elements, clouds, & zig zags.
Testimony - I have documented about a print of doors, I bought from one of our local 'cheap shops' Crazy Clarks.

My journaling reads...

I have owned red doors, blue doors, old brown doors, glass doors & wooden doors. My son in laws architecture company is called 'Red Door Architecture'.

Welcome - come inside - lovely to see you!
Hello
No thank you
Oh for me!
Open Sesame..
my front door sayings

I have a fascination with front doors.
Coloured, woooden. 1.2 doors, big & little, metal doors on castles, homes, sheds, outhouses, commercial buildings, glass, old new, with handles, hooks, knobs & studs, well lit & numbered. They let you know where you are!

Then I found this el-cheapo print & it hangs proudly on my hall wall for all to see!

Safe & secure it keeps out the heat & the cold & the strong winds & blinding rain.

Open wide, come inside to my home.

Do come & join us at Archi-scraps for this fabulous & awesome challenge challenge!

Hugs xx
