Our Little Yellow Bird

Here is my take on whitewith1 this month - the criteria being

Although this photo of our baby Jade is not clear, it is a lovely photo in its own right.  Jade loved the colour yellow from such a young age & when this gorgeous little sundress was given to her, she could not stop wearing it!  She still at aged 29 still loves yellow, such a sunny & happy colour.  We have called her our little yellow bird for years, so I really thought that I had to participate in this challenge.

I have used white Bazzill, BG Piccadilly range, Dew Drop ink & SU stamp, assorted flowers I have been given, Margs Bits & Pieces flower, Auhentique alphas, Sassafras Lass alphas, KC pearls, Zig writer & KC rubon, plus a lemon Copic marker for some doodling!

Maybe you can join into this fab challenge too?

  1. You should link this up with Julie Kirk's month of Sunrays:

  2. Hi Debi. That was a good idea of Julie's - your page is a perfect fit with my blog series!

I've pinned it to the board with everyone else's yellow projects now:

And thank you for your kind comments on my blog.

    Julie :-)

  3. Yellow is such a happy, sunny colour :) making this such a happy layout! Love the repetition of the photos :)

  4. Hi Deb, isn't that funny, I had the urge to do something yellow today too! I have splashed some paint around and keep an eye out for the end result! Where are you off to on hols.?

  5. Wow another stunning layout Deb. How cute does Jade look!!!. I really love the use of lemon in your work, it's probably not a colour we tend to use on it's own for some reason but it looks gorgeous. Big hugs Clare xxx

  6. wow Dab this is just gorgeous ... wonderful pics and the addition of the flowers is perfect xoxox
