Here is my card from the great inpiration at Feeling Sketchy this week.

I am always in need of birthday cards, so happy with one.  I used KC pp, black CS embossed, lovely seam binding, plus some special mauve flowers from a RAK.

I am blessed so much to have a wonderful daughter - my Jade.

 

I have used this great close photo with this magnificent Bo Bunny March Monthly pack available at Scrapville, plus some stamping, gesso'ing & I am really happy with the result!

 

 

 And here is one of my pretty grand kitties Fern

 

She is a sweetie!! And think this gorgeous Bo Bunny paper just matches her 'tortoisehellness'!!

Lovable You

 

Here is my card for the fabulous Feeling Sketchy, from this great sketch

 

 

I just love the Kaisercraft range of papers '75c', so with that, some stamping & fussy cutting I made this card that I might give to my beautiful Jade for her birthday.. I have also used a few beads, ribbon & lace..

Joy & Traditions

 

Well Sue's great challenge this fortnight is for our cards to have snowballs & glitter...

 

Card 1 'Joy' - my snowballs look huge ( have to dodge them for sure), & loved using my stickles for that glittery effect around my little house & on the snow balls.   I downloaded the little home image & fussy cut it, plus used some lovely BG Christmas pp & ribbon.

 

My 2nd card titled 'Traditions'

 

 

has more of those snowballs plus glitter on the tree baubles...but it doesn't show here (boo hoo)

 

I cant wait to see the ladies cards this time...they will be very beautiful!

Cead Mile Failte

 

Over at Mystical Scrapbooks they are holding a March 'St Paddy's Day' Cyber Crop.  Now the lovely Anita's challenge is this piccie plus green paint or mist...

 

 

 

 

I am happy to scrap another photo from our OS trip in 2006. I used the sort -of triangular shape with flags, texture paint & 'Mowed Lawn' distress ink with 2 masks for my background. My title is Cead Mile Failte, meaning One Hundred Thousand Welcomes....isn't that so lovely!!!

 

Next was Tracey challenge  - to use Luck or Lucky in the title, along with some Gold!

 

 

I used some wonderful Glitz pp, with a craftworks mask & gold paint & then layered lots of greens, pinks & golden colours with this lovely photo of Jadie & I taken at Ross Castle in Killarney, Eire.  Lovely challenge Tracey!

 

My journaling is - Lucky Me, to have a fab, hip, great, true, loyal, beautiful daughter like you.

Been lovely to scrap just for me...thoroughly enjoyed it!

Thinking of You...at Feeling Sketchy

 

Well here is my take on the Feeling Sketchy challenge # 49 this week...

 

 

You can work on a card or a layout, with this as your inspiration.

 

I have been in card making mode, so I made this card 'Thinking of You' with Bazzill CS, some lovely pp that the name eludes me, flowers from My2Angels, tile from Tattered Inspirations, KC pearls, ribbon from a new top that had those hanging things on the shoulders, & a Stampin Up stamp.

 

I am really enjoying these challenges!!

Now what a magnificent colour challenge at  Black with 2 this month...my very, very fave of Black, Red & White...up the Saints!!

I'm feeling sketchy....Sweet!

 

Well here is my take on Feeling Sketchy # 48.  A great card that I will undoubtedly use very soon.

 

Here is the sketch..

 

 

I did stray from the sketch (as I am known too) by using a tag shape instead of an oval, & I used a cameo, bow & button for my three star shapes.  Isn't this ppp from Sass Lass lovely!!

Magnolia

 

Here is my March LO about this wonderful Magnolia flower in my front garden, from the fabulous inspiration 'The Secret Garden' at From Screen 2 Scrap.

 

 

Added Criteria -

1pt = Garden photo/s
2pts = Flower cluster
3pts = A garden decoration

(archway, seat, birdbath, gates, garden swing, hammock etc....)

 

I find FS2S wonderful as inspiration so do join in with us this month...there are always great prizes!

I am having so much fun with gesso & masks & inks & sprays, that I worked with the greens & browns with a slight pinky orange to set the scene for lovely Harry's portrait photo.

Mystical Days....when you are 5

I can hardly believe it is March!!!

So here we go...with the fabulous Archi-scraps challenge...how about this cutie......

Think Fairy Tales for this one, so here is my page, title Mystical Days...when you are 5.

 

Here is an old, old photo of me (on the left) with my friend Margaret Broadsmith at Santa Land which used to be at Currumbin on the Gold Coast.  Margaret's parents took us up for the day, when we were 5 years old & living in Lismore.  And they had a camera & took a few photos which I treasure!

 

Here we are in a little dutch windmill...such a sweet old photo! Plus with that sweet pp, some misting, wonderful Flourish with a Bling & a fairy or two I think I captured the spirit of the inspiration.
