Standing firm & waiting

At the Little Scrapbook Shop this month there is a choice for the May Monthly challenge - to create 3 cards, or work on a double LO using similar themed photos, and the same paper range...but to achieve 2 different looks.  Now I had not thought of this & really enjoyed getting into scrapping this double of Jadie at the beach at Easter.  I choose the Kaisercraft range Chanteuse papers & embellies, plus a few bits & bobs & scrapped this lovely photo of her ready to snap a shot of the Jetty jumpers!  She was 18 weeks pregnant at that time...lovely hey!

And this is my 2nd page -

With some additions of Maya Road kraft embellies & this great photo of Jadie's toes with her signature nail polish, I am really happy with the not-the-same double LO.

ScrapFriends Sketch Challenge 1

I just purchased a wonderful Big Shot from ScrapFriends, & in the package was a 'join us' flyer for their Challenge 1...so I did!  This is the great sketch for May.

Naturally I couldn't help myself & have had a lovely jiggle around with the original, & used the most fab photo that I found recently of Pete, teeny Benni & me when we were visiting Pete's parents in Glen Innes in 1980.  I just love it!!

I used some of dad's old sheet music, Pink Paislee tissue, Dew Drops inks, Ruby Rocket & Grant embellies, twine, organza ribbon, KC birdie & lace, little tiny flowers, Glitz Whatnot, Glitz alphas flowers from Shelee - thank you, & a lot of love too.

Thank you for taking a peep,

Last but not least April Challenge

Deb has her challenge for April at Cards, papers & scrapbooks at the end of each month, which is great!

This month she chose to use inchies on a card, & I have just received my lovely Stampin' Up Fresh Vintage set, which were perfect for this!

I loved Deb's colours so went with pink, green and white as well.  Using some lovely cardstock, Tattered Inspirations green lace, SU stamp & punch, a flower from Shelee, KC pearls, & a lovely sentiment from Clare.

You can join in too!

Hugs, Debi xxx

Needed to scrap!

Here is my LO following the sketch at Scrapbook Supplies Online for this month, & had fun with this great photo of Tashi & Monica out partying.   Used some great Graphic 45 papers & brights...happy with the result!

And with a juggle of the Card challenge I have made this card for an OS tourist!

Simply gorgeous

Here is Lisa's LO at Scrap Jacked this month, which I think is absolutely adorable so I really enjoyed thinking about this lovely page while I scrapped my LO of  wonderful Tashi & her gorgeous corsage that Mitchell gave her for her school formal last November.

I have used a lovely mask & Malted Milk dabber, a lovely La Blance stamp, Prima packaging, Simple Stories journaling tag, lace, Tattered Inspirations seam binding, Prima Leaves, plus some lovely ribbon that I inked with my favourite Dew Drop ink 'wheat'.  I have stamped a SU love stamp in the upper corner, but my photo does not do it justice, such a lovely stamp!

Thank you for another month of lovely inspiration!

Especially for You

A fortnight whizzes by so fast, & here we are again with the Christmas Card Clubs card.
This time Zoe has chosen to use an aperture, so had fun with my great Marvy scallop cutter & some lovely Basic Grey paper & chipboard buttons. The sentiment was courtesy of lovely Clare!

Thank you Zoe, great challenge!

Merry Christmas card

Here is my card for our lovely Christmas Card Club.
Carol's criteria was ribbons & lace, so used this fab traditional coloured reds & greens paper, with cotton lace from my young scrapping friend Naomi, green grograin ribbon & a Merry Christmas ribbon too. Plus a little flag too.

Another great idea in our card quest!
