The sweet bird of happiness

Here is Julies wonderful Lo this month over at Scrap Jacked, & it is always hard to choose one to have a play with - they are always fab...and time does not allow more than one either...

So here is mine - which is really nothing like Julie's!  But still I adore this photo of dear Tashi & Crys, with little Harry in the foreground..full of life!

Thank you lovely Scrap jacked gals for another month of great LO's

My first Pavlova Roll...

Easter cooking with Madi, & we made a great team producing this lovely rolly Pav.  With whipped cream, strawberries & Ron's passionfruit...divine!
It was slightly crisp on the outside, & so smooth & fluffy inside - & I think this is the way it should have been.  I will make another one later this week!

Free Spirit

Here is my card for this weeks Case Study #85.

The inspiration is from Laurie Schmidlin, the card below & isn't this fabulous! What a lovely array of cards there is on show as usual!

I choose a lovely pink card as the base, from some 'throw outs' at Spotlight with a lovely collage of Paris, diecut, lace, crotchet flower & hat pin all from the Tattered Inspirations 'Parisiene Memories' kit...simply gorgeous goodies.

The Spice of Life

Aprils' Inspiration for ARTastic is this gorgeous pencil coloured drawing titled
Café on the Left Bank (2011) by Julie Podstolski (pencil drawing).
I really love Julie's work & could see one of these on my walls!

Theme for this month  -   Food related

Here is my LO.  I have used Jade & her Pete in fabulous cosmopolitan Melbourne.

Loved Julie's colours & had to use them myself.

Now and Forever..

This is Aprils' inspiration at From Screen 2 Scrap, & I think Nicky's movie poster choice is fabulous!

Ever After (A Cinderella Story)

For this challenge I'd like you to tell us about
your Cinderella story. (If you haven't met your
special prince or princess yet then it can be about
someone else, maybe your parents, siblings, best
friend....)

For an extra 6 bonus points :)

1) Add some bling! Use rhinestones, pearls, glitter or stickles to
give your page some fairytale magic = 1pt

2) Use a fairytale themed title, line from a movie/book or quote
for your title. (eg. Ever After, Once upon a time, ....there lived a
handsome prince, he woke her with a kiss.....) = 2pts

3) Journalling (can be hidden or visible) Write a sentence, a
paragraph or more about your Cinderealla Story (eg how you met,
how long you have been together or something significant about
your special Prince/princess! = 3 pts

Here is my LO -

I choose to use the brown palette for this LO, using 3 great photos of my dear Pete & I on our honeymoon 35 years ago.  They were taken in a photo booth under Australia Square in Sydney.
I used some gorgeous Eva pearl swirls, prima flowers, Tim Holtz inks & lovely paper I found at the bottom of the pile!

Do join in with this fab challenge - it is a beauty!

Live, Laugh, Love

Over at Deb's blog, she hosts the Last but Not Least card Challenge, see here, & this one is an interesting challenge for sure!

I chose a card maker that I have admired from Case Study Challenge Blog, & here is a link to see her lovely works Jean Martin's card.

And this is my card...

I love Jean's card, & so chose to use different colourings & Prima Reflections 6 x 6 Collection on a card base.  My title is a Stampin' Up stamp that I love, plus a gorgeous butterfly & cream ribbon I was given in a RAK, Prima cardstock die cut, Stampin' Up postage stamp punch, lace that was my mum's, & Dew Drop ink.

Do join in too!

Treasure

What about this fabulous negative die cut card from the March Muse Laura Bassen at Case Study.  This sadly is her last card, but what a fab one to leave us with!

Here is my card...

I have titled it Treasure, & have used  -  Kaisercraft rubon, Basic Grey papers, Bazzill CS, lovely Spellbinders Nestibility, Eva pearls, lace, Dew Drop inks, & a top embossing folder.

I think it is time for me to make a light box!

Thanks for taking a peek!
