The beginnings of a scrap

What a brilliant idea of Jane Howden, from her blog Scrap Beginnings!!

This will be a year long project about my place in the sun....I really love the concept & have begun with my first page about my front green & shady garden. My steep driveway doesn't look to bad from this angle!!

Read all about it here & if you would like to join in as well, there is absolutely no pressure, & there will be even some little gifties!!

Really dark green Bazzill, scrap of 7Gypsies pp, part of a gorgeous Tattered Inspirations Kit, Twiddleybitz chipboard fence, BG label & ribbons.

Take care...

Love Debi

  1. What a beautiful green shady home you have Deb. Look at the size of that 'Birds Nest Fern', I would love to have one that big in my garden.
It looks like you have a balcony along the front of your home, how fantastic :)
I love the little embellies you added to your page, especially the little fence.

  2. Oh Deb, your gardens are beautiful!!! Love all that green!! Is it like that all year long? We have 4 very different seasons here in the midwest USA, and right now there is some snow and its cold, brrrr. So nice to see greenery!!!

  3. It is just so tropical and wow!! that Birds Nest fern is spectacular - you must have the green touch. Can't wait to see more.

  4. I love your home it feels very tropical and happy. How wonderful to have an upper deck on your house!!
