Hello and welcome to the next leg of the expanding blog hop.
I’m not sure when or where it started, but my dear Canadian friend
Karen to play along so here I go!
I have met lovely Karen through
Soul Scrappers, where we are on the Design Team together & we have formed a lovely friendship over the years.
So onto the questions:
1. What am I working on?
This is a challenge blog that is open to all to play along with the sketches.
So I need to design 2 cards & one LO sketch each month & also create examples as well. So today I am working on 2 cards for September.
But I cant show you those sketches...but here is the card sketch that is on the blog now...
Card Challenge 94
and here is my card
We are sponsored by
Aurora Wings Digital Stamps, so here is this darling fellow I enjoyed colouring with my Copics. Beautiful digi stamps there!
And also we have a LO Sketch that runs the whole of July & here it is
and my LO...here is my hubby & our grand daughter Pippi.
2. How does my work differ from others of its genre?
I really don't know!! I just 'do my own thing'! I scrap or make cards, or mixed media for myself...
Perhaps the difference is that it really is for me!
Here is some of my scrapping lately...
I love bright colours, & colours that perhaps don't usually go together..
Adding mixed media to the page..
3. Why do I write/create what I do?
I just 'found' scrapbooking one day 11 years ago, & I can still remember that wonderful feeling of joy...I was instantly attracted to all the papers, & stamps & inks....
Now I 'can't help myself'! I must do some papery every day, even though I go to work!!
4. How does your writing/creating process work?
I just sit & it all flows! I find a photo & & my mind just starts ticking!
I love using anything on a LO...I am not worried about archivalness (is that a word?) because there is always photos of everything including loads about my LO or cards.
Thanks for taking a look at my blog...it has been wonderful to join in!
So next Monday 14 July, pop over & have a look at my lovely scrapping friends blog
