One Fine Day

Here is ScrapFriends sketch challenge for June & I am loading mine at the 11 hour!! 

Somehow this month has just flown!

Here is 3 aged & original photos of  my bridesmaid Tricia, & my mum & moi on my wedding day.  These photos are scanned in to play with & perfect again, but I have just wanted to use them - bad colour, 

warts & all!

And I wanted to make a 'retro' styled page too, so choose mauve papers, and tones with some fabulous Tattered Inspirations ephemera & a lovely sprig, as well as some lovely shiny satin ribbon.

My wedding dress was light blue, but these photos are faded & marked & still fabulous to me. It is the memories they carry.

This is the loveliest photo of our little Benni when he was just 1 year old at Alexandra Headland - a little park with swings while we were on holidays.  Now Benni is all grown up & can you believe that he just loves Alexandra Headland...

I really enjoyed using my new Big Shot dies I purchased recently from Ebay - from - 4craftssake2011  they were so easy to use!

Out with the two door and in with 4

Here is my June ScrapBurst 1!  Just check out the fabulous & very special ScrapBurst challenges over at Scrapville.  Janet organises these every so often & they are just great.

I have purchased the 4 SB kits, & cant wait to work on the other 3.

The fist SB was to use Kraft & 2 other colours..so I have Kraft, Blue & white. I have used great photos of Jade with her Echo she recently traded in & her new Mazda CX7...

Content at Black With 2

Well Black with 2 is back in the challenge blog scene, & I really liked this pallet of Balck & white & blues...so have a ton of fun with this great photo of my Jade & her Pete.

I used some lovely Cre8tiv paint, and a plastic lid plus let the paint stay in its shape too & because today is lovely & sunny it all dried well in an hour or so.  I used some lovely B & W thickers, & bits & bobs in my stash, plus a lovely postage stamp I received yesterday. And also on of Charms Creations do dads.

Everything looks blue doesn't it...my camera just wanted blue today!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!

Well we sure - us 3 great friends Michelle, Rachel & myself - did at Carol Mead's Tattered Inspirations Autumn Retreat in Canberra in April...

Raymond MacNeil took some great photos, but we wanted to be in the autumn leaves so Ray came across the road & took this great photo as we played around. I adore this photo.  And this challenge at 

Scrap the Girls is for June & the theme is 'Outdoors' - great challenge isn't it!

I used some great washi tape, Tattered Inspirations hand made buttoned flower, string twirls I made, BG journaling bits, organse bag, machine stitching & doodling too.

Faithful Friend - CASE Study #94

The most terrible weather to take photos is at my home this week, & I dont have a light box as yet, but here is my card from the inspiration of a great Australian card maker Joy Taylor at CASE Study this week.

I really loved this card plus Joy's inpirational card, as well as the Design Team...

There certainly was not much light coming through my windows this morning...let's hope the sun peeps through in a day or so!

And used this most wonderful photo of my Jade's Poppet belly..love the sun & shade on her here.

I have used some wonderful Pink Paislee Nantucket chippie hexagons....I love these, Craft Queen ribbons, Sei ephemera, lovely black bazzill' Glitz pretties & Delish paper.

Case Study 93 - Friends

Isn't this the most lovely card! 

It is by the May Muse Agnieszka Malyszek at Case Study Challenge Blog.

I decided to have another whirl at this one, & my home made card supplies are now building!

I choose a ready made card base in a golden glow gold as my base with cream, misted with Vanilla Breeze Glimermist, plus a used a wonderful misting template as well.  I had fun using the Kaisercraft Bonjour range of journaling tag & butterfly, white organza ribbon (oh how I love it!) plus the glorious doily & 'friends' tile is from Tattered Inspirations. 

I surely can see that I will be using this card any day too!
