Picture Perfect

Now there is a completely different colour palette at Color Me Scrappy this month...a delightful array of colours...

And ...& the twist is the fabulous sketch...

So here is my page....

I have used this gorgeous flower shaped postcard that my lovely friend Trish bought back from Holland after visiting her daughter who is working there...she knew I would scrap it!!!

I think the palette was perfect for this...don't you??

I have used some scrap paper, washi & stitching as well.

February Guest Designer for 4 Crafty Chicks - fabulous hey!!

I was so chuffed to be asked by the lovely gals at 4 Crafty Chicks to be the Guest Designer for February...how exciting. 

 

These gals are Canada based & I just love their great choice of challenges, that are weekly!!!

 

So here is my take on Challenge #180 - Flags and/or Banners

 

I created a LO using the soft gelato colours, to work in with this great photo (even though it is not perfect) of our Jade, with my Pete holding our lovely little grand daughter Pippi.  I teamed it with some lovely embellie flags that my little English rose friend Clare Earl has posted over to me, little bit of misting & that fab ice cream embellie...how sweet it is!

All Things Grow With Love

February already!!! Heavens this year is whizzing faster than 2013!

 

Over at White with 1 the challenge this month is

I have made this canvas for my dear young friend who was married on 1st February & using these fabulous colours which is Naomi's fave's!

 

 

I have used the whole palette of mauves with a touch of yellow & blue to give a little highlight.....lots of impasto, mod podge, tissue paper, chipboard, flower cluster & pearl threads....

 

It was lovely to play along!

Its February already & over at Archi-scraps we have some fabulous & different inspiration - here it is

What a grouping..hehehe...this one has given me a chuckle...

So here is my take..

I have used the colours of this photo, along with the 'caravan' of the photo as well....& my LO is about that we recently SOLD our camper trailer...

As great as it was my arthritic bits struggled to assist hubby to get it all set for a camp.  Hubby's continuing sore back was the final 'straw that broke the camel's back'  & we really hope the new owner enjoys the camping with his family.

Wow, what a fabulous inspiration at ARTastic we have for your this month....

 

This is Joshua Miels "Pretender" - & wow, it grabs me when I look at it!!

And here is my take on the subject, using this fabulous photo of my wonderful son Ben,

So I scrapped my page about meeting my amazingly Shazza through a blog, & then meeting in real life...& we are great friends!

 

I loved using this Pink Paislee pp, stamping & gathering a bunch of pretty flowers together as well.

My Birds of a Feather

 

In the latest JOT Magazine, Issue #4 there is a 3 extra fab challenges & so I decided to join in & this LO I worked on for

Challenge 3 – Twenty Twenty Challenge – by Sian Fair

 

My LO took about 15 mins actually, using some bits & bobs in my stash, bit of stencil & ink work & a darling photo of my two darlings...

 

It was lovely to have a little scrap after work this other day...I hope to fit in some more scrapping today as well.

Living in the 70's....

Here is a photo taken in May 1975, with some friends at the Gold Coast for the weekend...a prize we won from the Jacaranda Festival 1974. That's me & my cool top - that I loved - in the front...

 

This was fun to play with I have to say...it looks like a page from the 70's too! :)
