Lucky Me @ Auzz Trinklets N Krafts

I have been lucky enough to find this fabulous scrapbooking spot called

And here is their first challenge...& it is fantastic!

Here is the 1st opening challenge from Auzz Trinklets N Krafts, this month we want to see the colors from the Inspiration Pic on your project . Please keep in mind that all challenges here at Auzz Trinklets are OPEN papercraft, as long as you projects uses paper as the base and your project fits the challenge theme you are eligible to enter.
The prize is sponsored by Auzz Trinklets N Krafts....

So using this glorious inspiration & this lovely photo of a Lily I had fun working on my page.

The paper is Grand Bazaar by Basic Grey...& I just LOVE it all...funny how that can work sometimes, dont you think?

My journaling reads -

After my nasal operation my dear friend Sue bought me a bunch of flowers - these beautiful & very highly perfumed Lilies.
As she gave them to me she said ' I forgot about how they would affect your nose!' We had a laugh & then they proudly stayed outside on the deck.

I used lots of bits & bobs in my stash including gold sequins, & gorgeous net from Leanne and Glimmermist too

Leanne also gave me these glorious vellum leaves & die cut stem made by her on her Silhouette.

Thank you for a lovely challenge Neha..

Do check out her shop..

Twine @ Use Your Stuff

The challenge over at Use Your Stuff is

Challenge #175 - Twine

So here is my card...

I used 3 colours of twine inside the card, so it shows through the die cut holes in the front.

I also added twine to my buttons...and a sticker button that says 'For He's A Jolly Good Fellow'.

A happy & cheery card, me thinks!

Sweet Summer Sunshine

Here is a fabulous challenge at 1 2 3 Get Scrappy...as usual I must say.. I love these
tic tac toes!

I chose the top line for my page....

Sunshine, Hand Drawn Stitches & Hearts

Now before I add the details...disclaimer...my photo of this page is poor, sorry.  We are in the throes of Tropical Cyclone Marcia...well, the very wet bit & there is
no proper light to take the photo.

I have also used a very old photo & worked my page around the 'retro' look as I have been doing lately. It is great scrapping the oldies!

I have used fabulous white cardstock, & inked some lovely yellow ink across then used all my scraps on here....

Along with a cluster of die cuts....I love buying them, but dont seem to add them to my page often...that's weird hey!!

I have also made this page with Scrap Africa in mind too.

Their challenge is 'Die cut Delights'

My die cuts are from Ruby Rock-it & Amy Tangerine.

Thank you for looking..

Love @ Fusion

A wonderful challenge across at Fusion Card Challenge once again...

And here is my card..

I have used the wonderful white Bazzill card as my base - I just love its texture, & used 2 stencils & gesso, then 3 gorgeous Heidi Swapp mists to begin the colouring...

I used some die cut leaves I purchased off Ebay last year...I think I had better buy my own die now.

Using a lovely KC woodgrain scrap & a cork embellie, & some older flowers & bling I am happy with this card...this one will be easy to give away!

I have used lovely Bazzill white card as my base, then used one of my lovely stencils & texture paste (cos I love it)...and (im)patiently waited for it to dry.

I then added another circular punched layer, along with a Card Topper mailed to me by the wonderful Clare Earl from the UK.  Added some Kaisercraft bling & Prima flower & voila!

I think this monochrome card will come in handy very soon...

Thank you for looking.

Love @ Feeling Sketchy

I have had a quiet morning at home as my FIL died earlier & my hubby is at the hospital..sad times for sure.

So I had to work on a card & thought that my sketch at Feeling Sketchy was just the one to do...

Sketch #114

I really love designing sketches & when I am well I will start to design more..

So here is my card...a sort of Valentine's card....

These are beautiful flowers I purchased from Wild Orchid Crafts in the UK...fantastic aren't they & the freight to Australia was very reasonable.

Hugs to you xx

Grand Parents @ The Memory Nest

Playing along this time with the fabulous Crystal Schneider sketch at The Memory Nest, plus also TBT (Throw Back Thursday)...

I have just sat & worked on this LO as a tribute to my Father-in-law who passed away early this morning...he is now with Norn.
My Pete has been at the hospital most of the time this last week, & our niece Tam was with him when he passed. So now the saddest time of the funeral will come....

This is an old photo from 1985 when my hubby & his twin & their sister & all of us met for a picnic lunch at Minnie Waters..

I have used a selection of paper offcuts here....all in my stash....

Here is the sketch which I have turned 90deg.

Love @ CASology

Joining in with this fabulous inspiration at CASology...isn't it fabulous?

So I had to join in!

I used some brilliant paper 'We Are Memory Keepers' Love Notes, on top of my Kraft card
some lovely washi tape

along with this 2Crafty chippie word. I coated my 'love' chippie with glue, then used 3 Glimmermist colours over the top & let it dry...just gives a different finish dont you think?  Then I highlighted parts of the word with my gold Posca pen.

design defined:
Create your own image and keep the sentiment in the middle of the card for a unique CAS design.

It was lovely to scrap this card this morning.

Thank you for a great challenge.

Hugs xx

What a fabulous challenge that I couldn't pass by!

Here is my card..

I have flipped the sketch & used triangles & not cirles...a classic sketch, but had to jiggle it, as I always do!

I have used some fabulous gorgeous October Afternoon paper & a wonderful stencil with Texture paste, Glimmermist, Heidi Swapp mist, a gorgeous Jillibean Soup word, Posca pen, ah the fun of it!

 And a little closeup...

I had a nasal operation 3 weeks ago & have felt a bit dreadful, but making this card certainly perked me up!
